Purpose

Everything we do, all the fundraising and other events, should work towards:

  1. Helping the Teachers and Staff
    1. To feel appreciated and valued
    2. To have the materials they need
  2. Supporting each other as Parents
    • To feel connected and involved
    • Not overwhelmed or pressured
  3. Provide fun and enriching experiences for the kids
    • Build our SJLES community

We can accomplish a lot and still have fun, without completely losing our minds!

Volunteer

Volunteers are what make this PTA run. For a no commitment way to get involved please send an email to the Volunteer Coordinator (with subject “Volunteer List”) to be put on a volunteer email list.

If you are interested in offering your time & skills please let us know by sending an email to the above.

Meetings

Meetings are an opportunity to hear more about what the PTA is working on throughout the year. It is also an opportunity to share thoughts and ideas with the school administrative and teaching staff.

Meeting Details

For the 2025-2026 school year, PTA meetings will usually occur on the second Thursday of every month. The first PTA meeting September 4th is at 6:30 pm, in-person.

Subsequent meetings will by hybrid (in person and on zoom), at 6:30 pm, unless otherwise noted. Find the Zoom links for each meeting on the right
